AMS, a developer of innovative solutions for radioactive waste management in nuclear medicine, today announced the appointment of Shogo Kikuchi, MBA, as Executive Officer, Head of Corporate Planning and Head of Business Development**, effective June 2026.
Mr. Kikuchi brings more than 18 years of experience spanning research and development, management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, and fundraising. His appointment reflects AMS's commitment to strengthening its leadership team as the company expands the global deployment of its flagship radioactive waste management solution, BSX.
Prior to joining AMS, Mr. Kikuchi spent eight years in research and development at Hitachi Group. He subsequently held consulting positions at the Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. (IGPI) and Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, where he advised corporations and startups on growth strategy, innovation, and new business creation. Most recently, he played a leading role in fundraising and corporate development at a deep-tech startup.
Mr. Kikuchi holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University and earned his MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
As Executive Officer, Head of Corporate Planning and Head of Business Development, Mr. Kikuchi will oversee corporate strategy, global business development, strategic partnerships, licensing initiatives, and growth planning. He will play a key role in accelerating AMS's international expansion efforts across Asia, North America, and Europe.
